Requirements

  • Current CNA certification (Texas)
  • A heart for service and a team spirit
  • Passion for elder care and building meaningful connections
  • High school graduate or equivalent is desired.
  • Completion of Certified Nursing Aide program is required.
  • Possession of a valid Texas Certified Nurse Aide certification, or ability to obtain as required by regulation.

Nice To Haves

  • One year of experience, preferably as a hospital or long-term care nursing assistant is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with daily living activities
  • Offer kind words, warm smiles, and a listening ear
  • Keep things running smoothly with documentation and teamwork
  • Join in on fun events and activities (yes, eggroll making, or bean bag baseball, may be involved!)
