About The Position

Wellspring Personal Care is seeking a dedicated Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) for our Lincolnwood location. Join our compassionate team in providing exceptional care to our clients, ensuring their comfort and well-being in a supportive environment. Working as direct care for a client in a facility. Stand-by assist and personal care experience required.

Requirements

• Current CNA certification in the state of Illinois.
• Previous experience in a caregiving role preferred.
• Strong interpersonal skills and a compassionate demeanor.
• Ability to work flexible hours, including weekends and holidays.
• Basic understanding of medical terminology and patient care practices.
• Reliable transportation to and from the Lincolnwood location.
• Ability to lift and move clients safely as needed.
• Must pass background checks and drug screenings.

Responsibilities

• Assist clients with daily living activities such as bathing, grooming, and meal preparation.
• Monitor and document patient vital signs and report any changes to the nursing staff.
• Provide emotional support and companionship to enhance clients' quality of life.
• Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, adhering to health and safety standards.
• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises as directed by healthcare professionals.
• Communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members about care plans and needs.
• Participate in training and development opportunities to enhance caregiving skills.
• Adhere to confidentiality and respect client privacy at all times.
