About The Position
Miller’s Health Systems is a 100% Employee-Owned company that has served Indiana communities since 1964, providing long-term and short-term residential health care, along with outpatient and home health care services. The Certified Nurses Aide (CNA) role involves providing basic care to patients, assisting them in their daily activities, monitoring for changes in their condition, and promptly reporting these to the nursing team. CNAs are also responsible for collecting and recording information vital to patients’ conditions and treatment. This position is highlighted as a potential first step for individuals interested in a career in nursing.
Requirements
- Previous Experience Working on a Rehab Unit Required
- Certified in the State of Indiana
- Passionate about serving others
- Able to work with a dedicated team
- Professional appearance and behavior
- To conform to the basic qualifications set forth by the Indiana Department of Health (ie: be able to read, write, and perform simple mathematics such as addition and subtraction)
- Successfully complete the Basic Aide Training Course
- To be able to satisfactorily pass the physical examination administered in behalf of gainful employment in the facility
Responsibilities
- Provide basic care to patients

- Watch for changes in patients and quickly report them to the team of nurses that work with you
- Collect and record information vital to the patients’ conditions and treatment
