About The Position

CNA/UNIT CLERK – Med Surg – Part Time Benefit Eligible Ste. Genevieve County Memorial Hospital is a Critical Access Hospital, stand-alone, not-for-profit hospital located in Ste. What to expect as a CNA/Unit Clerk: • Perform patient care duties including ADL’s. • Take vital signs, pulse oximetry readings, weigh patients and report abnormal readings. • Assemble treatment equipment and assist the nurse with procedures. • Be able to multi-task and have consistent professional etiquette. • Effectively use basic medical terminology. • Manage the phone system and have excellent computer skills. • Interpret basic arrhythmias. • Be responsible for the surveillance of arrhythmias on monitored patients

Requirements

  • High school graduate or equivalent.
  • BLS, required.
  • Excellent customer service skills, phone etiquette, and attention to detail are required.
