DESCRIPTION OF POSITION
We are seeking a detail-oriented, customer-focused Inpatient Unit Clerk to support daily operations within our inpatient care unit. This role plays a key part in ensuring efficient workflow, prompt communication, and an excellent experience for patients, families, and clinical staff.
HOURS
Part-time position. Monday 8:00 am-8:00 pm and Tuesday-Friday 4:00 pm – 9:00 pm.

Requirements

• Computer proficiency required
• One year of experience in a hospital setting required
• Current BLS certification required
• High school diploma or GED required

Responsibilities

• Answering calls promptly, professionally and accurately
• Maintaining and updating patient census
• Assist with coordinating patient flow into and out of the department
• Provide clerical support to ensure smooth unit operations
• Collaborate closely with team members to support patient care
