This is a paid nurse training track opportunity for individuals who are natural caretakers, nursing students, former CNAs, HHAs, or PCAs. The CNA Training Track (Support Aide) offers insight into direct care by allowing participants to work alongside clinicians and assist residents. Upon applying, individuals will be slotted into the next available Nurse Aide Training Program to become a CNA. The training course lasts three weeks, Monday to Friday from 7:30 AM to 3:30 PM (times may vary). The first two weeks involve classroom training, followed by a third week of clinical experience. After successfully passing the course, the status and pay will be adjusted from Support Aide to CNA. Elderwood covers the cost of the CNA certification test and applicable onboarding requirements like PPD and Physical for eligible candidates. The training itself is paid, meaning participants are compensated for their training hours.
