About The Position
Staffing Coordinator / Central Supply Coordinator (CNA Required) Bear Creek Nursing Center 8041 State Road 52 | Hudson, FL 34667 Skilled Nursing Facility Full-Time | Monday–Friday | On-Call Responsibilities Bear Creek Nursing Center is seeking an experienced Staffing Coordinator / Central Supply Coordinator to support daily operations within our skilled nursing facility. This role is essential to maintaining appropriate nursing coverage and ensuring clinical teams have the supplies they need to provide high-quality resident care. The ideal candidate is a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) with previous SNF staffing and central supply experience who thrives in a fast-paced healthcare environment. This position works closely with nursing leadership and administration to help ensure smooth daily operations. Position Overview This position supports both nursing staffing coordination and central supply management. The successful candidate will be highly organized, detail-oriented, and confident in managing scheduling changes and supply needs in a skilled nursing environment.
Requirements
- Current CNA certification required
- Previous experience as a staffing coordinator in a Skilled Nursing Facility required
- Strong understanding of long-term care staffing needs
- Excellent organizational and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
- Dependable, proactive, and solutions-focused
Nice To Haves
- Experience managing central supply in a healthcare setting preferred
Responsibilities
- Create and maintain daily nursing schedules for CNAs, LPNs/LVNs, and RNs
- Respond to call-offs and last-minute scheduling needs
- Ensure appropriate staffing coverage to support quality care
- Communicate staffing updates with nursing leadership
- Participate in on-call rotation to assist with staffing needs outside normal business hours
- Manage ordering, inventory, and distribution of medical supplies
- Monitor supply usage and maintain inventory levels
- Maintain accurate supply documentation and records
- Work with nursing leadership to ensure units have the necessary supplies
