About The Position
Are you passionate about making a positive difference in the lives of seniors and individuals who need care? We are looking for compassionate and dedicated CNAs/PCAs to join our growing team to help staff a few cases at a Memory Care Facility in Virginia Beach. The tasks will consist of 1 on 1 care for Dementia/ Alzheimers Clients who need some extra care. If you have a caring heart, a strong work ethic, and enjoy helping others, we would love to meet you!
Requirements
- Active CNA license or PCA experience/certification.
- Must pass a background check.
- Must have completed dementia-specific training . IF not will train.
- CPR/First Aid certification .
- Ability to lift, move, or assist clients as needed.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- RELIABLE transportation
Nice To Haves
- Experience in a nursing home is a plus but not required.
Responsibilities
- Provide personal care and assistance with daily living activities (bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, etc.).
- Assist with mobility and transfers using proper techniques.
- Monitor and report changes in client health or behavior to the supervisor/ staff on the floor
- Support clients with dementia by using patience, compassion, and specialized care techniques and engage in a meaningful activity with them during the shift.
- Ensure a safe and clean environment for clients.
