About The Position

"Navitas Healthcare, LLC" is seeking an experienced and adaptable Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) / Nursing Attendant for a floating Acute Care assignment within a leading hospital system in Brooklyn . This is a fast-paced hospital environment supporting multiple inpatient units based on daily operational needs. The role is ideal for professionals who are flexible, dependable, and thrive in acute clinical settings.

Requirements

• Active New York State CNA Certification (required)
• Minimum of 1 year of recent Acute Care (hospital) experience
• Long-term care experience alone will not be considered
• Proficiency with EMR documentation and manual vital signs
• Strong work ethic, reliability, flexibility, and ability to work independently in a float role
• Ability to stand and walk for 8-hour shifts and assist with patient repositioning and transfers

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality bedside care in an acute care hospital environment
• Monitor and document vital signs, intake, and output
• Float between units such as Medical-Surgical, Orthopedics, and Telemetry as assigned
• Assist with safe patient handling, transfers, repositioning, and ambulation
• Support patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, and feeding
• Communicate promptly with the Registered Nurse (RN) regarding any changes in patient condition
• Assist with non-invasive specimen collection as directed
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and dignity at all times
