About The Position
Family Life Care is seeking dedicated and compassionate Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA) and Home Health Aides (HHA) to provide professional care to patients in the comfort of their own homes. This role involves helping patients with long-term care or assisting with recovery from an injury or illness. Family Life Care offers the opportunity to choose from various assignments and works with team members to build work schedules around their needs. The company serves the entire community, from children to senior citizens.
Requirements
- Current Florida CNA license or Home Health Aide Certificate
- Current CPR Certification
- Driver's License and Vehicle Insurance
- Current TB test with negative results
- Ability to pass a Level II background check
Responsibilities
- Performing non-medical hands-on care tasks as assigned by an RN, which may include helping with personal hygiene, eating, assisting with ambulation, and dressing.
- Helping patients remain in a safe, comfortable, and healthy environment by performing light housekeeping and preparing meals.
- Keeping records of all tasks performed and the patient's overall health and behavioral status.
