About The Position

Home Helpers Home Care of Manassas–Gainesville is seeking a dedicated, compassionate CNA or HHA to provide one-on-one hospice care for an elderly male client who lives with his wife in Manassas, VA . Requirements

• Minimum 18 years of age
• Ability to lift, push, or pull up to 50 lbs
• Ability to read, write, and speak English
• Reliable transportation (driver’s license preferred)
• Compassionate, patient, and dependable

Nice To Haves

• CNA or HHA preferred (experience with hospice or total care is a plus)

Responsibilities

• Assist with safe transfers (bed to wheelchair; gait belt or lift as appropriate)
• Support with bathing, dressing, grooming, and personal hygiene
• Provide comfort care and companionship
• Ensure client safety, dignity, and emotional support
• Follow the established hospice care plan
• Document care after each shift
