We're looking for compassionate CNAs and HHAs who are reliable, kind, and passionate about caregiving. Job Summary Under the clinical direction of the Nurse Case Manager and the administrative direction of the Aide Supervisor, the CNA/HHA provides hands-on care to adult clients in their homes. This role focuses on personal care, safety, dignity, and comfort - while maintaining accurate documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or GED required
- 1+ year of healthcare or caregiving experience preferred
- Home Health Aide (HHA): Employed as a nurse's aide within the past 24 months OR Willing to pass an agency-approved competency test
- Certified Nurse Aide (CNA): Active Connecticut Nurse Aide Registration required
Responsibilities
- Provide direct, one-on-one care to clients in their homes
- Assist with personal care such as bathing, grooming, dressing, and toileting
- Safely lift, transfer, and assist clients with mobility
- Observe and report changes in client condition to the care team
- Document care activities accurately and on time
- Work flexible hours to support client needs (great for per-diem caregivers!)
