About The Position

Assisting Hands is hiring CNA and HHA caregivers to provide one-on-one, in-home care to clients throughout Jacksonville and surrounding areas. Requirements

  • Valid Florida CNA license or HHA certificate
  • Successful completion of a Level II Background Screening
  • Classroom CPR certification
  • Florida-required training, including: HIV/AIDS Alzheimer’s and Related Dementias Assisting With Self-Administration of Medication
  • Reliable transportation to client locations
  • Strong communication skills and a compassionate, professional approach
  • Ability to adapt to different clients and home environments

Nice To Haves

  • Comfort with pets preferred but not required, since many clients have animals in their home
