About The Position

The clinic CNA assists the clinic staff in the daily operations of the PACE clinic, including, taking vital signs, escorts participants to and from exam rooms, prepares participants to be seen in the clinic and assists physician and nurses in provision of examinations and treatment. Ensures exam rooms are prepared for nursing and physician use and stocked with appropriate supplies. Obtains information from participants as directed by clinic RN case managers or medical providers. Participates in clinic meetings and overall planning related to clinic. Accepts other duties as assigned by the Medical Director, Nurse Practitioners, and Nurses and within the CNA scope of practice.

Requirements

  • Regular high school or holiday high school degree.
  • Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) license.
  • 1-2 years relevant experience working as a CNA.
  • Must possess BLS/CPR certification or be able to obtain within 60 days of hire.
  • Experience in customer service and handling priority participant complaints/requests.
  • Experience working within an Interdisciplinary Team Model.
  • Experience with Electronic Medical Records (EMR).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with individuals with mental health needs
  • Experience working with the frail or elderly population
  • Experience in team management, preferably in a geriatric care setting.
