About The Position

As a Weekend Warrior CNA at Lutheran Life Villages, work 32 hours (two 12-hour shifts every Saturday/Sunday & 1 weekday 8-hour shift) - Yearly Birthday PTO & Regular Paid Time Off - 14 holidays paid when worked - Eligibility for medical, dental and vision insurance within 30 days, Life Insurance, Short Term Disability, HSA, 403B Retirement Savings with Employer Match. - Unlimited Referral Bonuses!

Requirements

• Satisfactory completion of the approved Indiana State Board of Health, 105 Hour Nurse Aide Training Program or equivalent.
• Certification for Nurse Aide must be active and in good standing with the Registry and must be maintained in accordance with ISDH requirements.
• Ability to communicate effectively in English.
• Knowledge of medical terminology and basic medical procedures.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Understanding of the needs and concerns of the elderly; ability to patiently deal with combative/hostile residents.
• Basic computer experience preferred.

Nice To Haves

• One year experience in a long-term care facility or health care setting preferred.
