In this position, you will administer medications as directed by healthcare professionals, assist patients with their daily living needs, provide compassionate care, and generally increase their quality of life. Responsibilities may include monitoring vital signs, assist with medical procedures and treatments as needed, provide basic nursing care under the direction of a registered nurse or licensed practical nurse and communicating with nurses and doctors. The ideal candidate is compassionate, reliable, and willing to be an advocate for their patients. CMT, MT, or Certified Medical Assistants are not authorized to distribute medication. This position requires a current Medication Tech certification.
Requirements
- High School Diploma or Equivalent.
- Current Certification (Certified Medication Technician)
- Current CPR, First Aid certifications.
- Health Clearance (TB, MMR, Varicella).
- Criminal Background Clearance
- Reliable Transportation
