Job Description We are seeking CMT Technicians mid/late Spring 2026 to join our team on large multi-year projects. You will be a part of seasoned, highly qualified team that performs geotechnical and materials engineering, Construction Materials Testing (CMT), and construction inspections of some of the most highly complex and transformational infrastructure projects in our region. Notable Atlas projects in West Texas include the Children's Museum ("La Nube"), I-10 Widening, Transmountain, Border Expressway (formerly Northeast Parkway), Starlight Event Center, and the almost every major roadway in El Paso. We will be supporting and you will have an opportunity to be a part of advanced manufacturing, mission critical, DOT, and enormous federal projects in our region. Requirements

• High School Diploma or GED Equivalent.
• Willing to learn and work any shift that is needed.

Nice To Haves

• 2+ years Construction or CMT experience a plus.
• TXDOT or ACI certifications are a plus.
• OSHA 10 a plus

Responsibilities

• Performs construction-related field tests as directed by the Construction Materials Testing (CMT) Manager and Senior Engineer.
• Travels to various construction sites primarily throughout the Southeast Texas area with the potential for overnight and/or weekend as needed.
• Relays information to project manager and/or engineer, with limited in-field decision making.
• Transports equipment, test specimens and/or documents to field personnel, laboratory, clients or other offices, and provides physical assistance in equipment set-up.
• Enters daily field observation reports and summary reports electronically.
• Performs field quality control tests of in place concrete.
• Performs field density testing on soil, concrete, asphalt and other construction materials.
• Assists other technicians or professional staff on tasks and assists other departments as necessary.
• Follows Atlas safety plans, programs, policies, and procedures.
