Were just built to be better. We are a great company. We are seeking a CMT Field Technician to join our Tampa, FL team! Come join us! Job responsibilities include but are not limited to: Atlas is currently seeking a candidate to fill an immediate full-time opening to perform construction materials testing/inspection including, but not limited to: Soils sampling and testing, concrete sampling and testing, masonry sampling and testing, asphalt testing, reinforcing steel inspection. Candidate must be able to communicate effectively and accurately prepare field reports in accordance with Atlass report standards and applicable codes. Candidate must be willing to travel throughout the state of Florida and stay out of town when necessary.

Requirements

• High School Diploma
• 2 years of experience within construction or similar field
• Able to read and understand construction drawings and specifications
• Fluent in English (oral/written)
• Basic computer skills and working knowledge of Microsoft Word and Excel
• Experience in the construction industry
• ACI Concrete Sampling Technician I certification
• Nuclear Soil Density Testing experience (NEPA, FERC etc.)

Nice To Haves

• Additional CTQP certifications in soils, concrete and asphalt are desired/preferred
