About The Position

NV5 (NASDAQ: NVEE) is a provider of professional and technical engineering and consulting solutions to public and private sector clients in the infrastructure, energy, construction, program management and environmental markets. NV5 is an ENR Top 500 firm; we offer a full range of professional services in offices throughout the U.S. We are looking for a CMT Field Technician to support the Geotechnical group. The successful candidate should have experience in civil construction practices and relevant testing procedures, and must reside in the Ocala, Leesburg, or Alachua, Florida area.

Requirements

• Education evaluated on a case-by-case basis
• 5+ years of field experience
• Proficient in the Microsoft Office suite including Word and Excel
• Strong written and verbal communication and people management skills
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving experience
• Physical ability of lifting, carrying and loading of up to 75 pounds is required
• Excellent organizational skills

• Asphalt Paving Technician Level I
• Asphalt Paving Technician Level II
• Concrete Field Technician Level I
• Earthwork Construction Inspector Level I
• Earthwork Construction Inspector Level II
• ACI Field Certification
• Nuclear Density gage Certification

Responsibilities

• Provide field and laboratory testing and inspection services as required
• Complete documentation of projects
