About The Position

As a Chemical Management Services Chemical Coordinator, you will be a customer service leader in executing our chemical management services, to include receiving, labeling, and stocking point-of-use locations throughout the customer facility. You will manage the customer relationship, understand customer needs, and adjust your site operations to deliver the highest level of customer satisfaction and assure proper execution of the contract. This position is based at a customer's secure facility in Merritt Island, and requires customer-approved badge access. All hired candidates must meet secure-site requirements, including successful completion of PPG's pre-employment background check, driving record check, and the customer's background investigation for badge access. Requirements

  • Only US Citizens, Green card holders, political asylees, or refugees are eligible to apply.
  • High School diploma or GED equivalent required
  • Valid driver’s license and an acceptable driving record required
  • Ability to obtain PPG forklift certification
  • This position is based at a customer’s secure facility and requires customer-approved badge access. All candidates must meet secure-site requirements, including successful completion of PPG’s pre-employment background check, and the customer’s background investigation for badge access.

Nice To Haves

  • 1 year or more of prior experience in procurement, supply chain-related roles, inventory management, stocking, customer service, delivery, or related roles preferred.
  • Prior forklift experience preferred

Responsibilities

  • Serve as the day-to-day point of contact for the customer regarding their CMS program with PPG. As such, proactivity communicate updates and issues and plan inventory levels based on customer need.
  • Take ownership of the on-site inventory and fully manage its storage and allocation for customer use.
  • Properly manage all transactions to account for inventory receiving, labeling, allocation, and scrapping.
  • Proactively interface with procurement for inventory replenishment.
  • Align with Corporate policies, Corporate procedures, health requirements, safety requirements, and environmental requirements at all times.
  • Responsible for maintaining professional and ethical actions when dealing with customers and business associates.
  • Operate a forklift and company van while onsite to transport chemicals and materials.
