As a Manager of CMP in the Equipment Engineering team at Micron Technology, Inc., you will build and develop an elite team to drive manufacturing capability to scale in the newest Memory Fab in the United States! As the CMP Manager within Equipment Engineering, you will build and lead a high‑performing team to scale manufacturing capability in Micron’s newest U.S. Memory Fab. Your focus is optimizing manufacturing performance, aligning priorities with Micron’s business and strategic goals, and leveraging global resources to achieve world‑class equipment and yield results. This includes driving equipment availability, implementing best‑known methods, improving utilization and throughput, reducing costs, and managing continuous improvement projects. The role requires close collaboration with ATE, TD, and ME teams to ensure strong cross‑functional alignment. Some international travel may be required.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of industry experience working as Equipment Owner within CMP Process.
  • Bachelors or higher in a science-related field is required and of 5 years direct CMP semiconductor experience.
  • Willingness to travel internationally for onboarding and training purposes

Responsibilities

  • Ensure full compliance with Micron safety policies while fostering a positive work environment.
  • Set ambitious performance targets, communicate goals clearly, and drive fab optimization for output, yield, cost, and quality.
  • Validate capacity and support tool installations, modifications, and relocations in partnership with Manufacturing and Industrial Engineering.
  • Serve as a key technical resource across Manufacturing, Quality, Process Integration, Technology Development, and global 300 mm engineering teams.
  • Present complex topics to broad audiences, work closely with the People organization, and maintain succession plans for key roles.
