Requirements

  • must have 3 or more years experience programming multiple inspection systems (ex: Finescan, OGP Smartscope, CMM, Comparator, Toolscope, etc.)
  • proficiency in CMM programming preferred
  • strong understanding of GD&T
  • must have outstanding communication skills (verbal and written) with the ability to explain technical concepts in working terms to others and the ability to document work and/or create work instructions as needed
  • demonstrated ability to successfully develop and integrate new inspection methods into production
  • demonstrated ability to collect, analyze and interpret inspection data
  • ability to develop and execute validation documentation (IQ/TMV/MSV) and understand QMS requirements
  • demonstrated ability to apply critical thinking and problem-solving through inspection process improvement and provide feedback
  • may be overtime in this role
