Our California division, located in Huntington Beach, is seeking a CMM Programmer. Summary Seeking a CMM Programmer / Inspector working with PC-DMIS CAD++ on Hexagon metrology CMMs with 5 years of programming experience and ITAR eligibility generally fits into a mid-level to senior metrology role, especially in aerospace, defense, automotive, and precision manufacturing.

Requirements

  • 5 years of programming experience
  • ITAR eligibility
  • To conform to U.S. Government export regulations, applicant must be a U.S. citizen, lawful permanent resident of the U.S. or protected individual as defined by ITAR (22 CFR §120.15).

Responsibilities

  • Program and run CMM inspections using PC-DMIS CAD++ (offline and online).
  • Interpret GD&T per ASME Y14.5.
  • Develop, create, and implement CMM inspection routines for complex parts from Solid works models.
  • Validate and optimize programs for repeatability and cycle time.
  • Perform first article inspection to comply with AS9102 First Article Inspection and OATF-16949 Automotive PPAP requirements.
  • Analyze measurement results and create inspection reports.
  • Work with engineering, machining, and quality teams to resolve dimensional issues.
  • Maintain CMM calibration and probe qualification.
  • Experience with scanning probes or complex surfaces
