About The Position

Offer support to engineering and manufacturing teams by providing dimensional feedback to ensure quality planning and product integrity. Achieved through programming, operating, and interpreting data from CMM equipment. Additionally, develop and maintain CMM programs for product inspections, fixture verifications, and gauge calibration.

Requirements

  • Minimum of five years of experience performing metrological inspections in a manufacturing environment.
  • Minimum of 3 years of experience programming CMM using Calypso or PCDMS Software.
  • Proficient in GD&T and Blueprint Reading.
  • Competent in the use of CAD Data and 3D Models

Responsibilities

  • Knowledge of programming software and techniques.
  • Understand and apply GD&T concepts and Drawing Interpretations.
  • Manage the calibration and maintenance of the CMMs, fixtures and probing systems.
  • Create, backup and review programs for effectiveness, efficiency and revisions are current.
  • Operate / Program/Train and evaluate results of the CMM or applicable gauges.
  • Create and update operator instructions for fixtures and running of programs.
  • Manage CMM data collection and archiving.
  • Perform in-process, first off and receiving inspection as required.
  • Other duties as assigned.
