About The Position

CMM Operator – Entry Level Grand Rapids, MI ArtiFlex Manufacturing is looking for an entry-level CMM Operator to join our team! This is a great opportunity for someone with mechanical aptitude, basic measurement or machining experience, and a desire to grow into a specialized technical career. What You’ll Do: Operate a Coordinate Measuring Machine (CMM) to inspect parts and ensure quality. Learn how to run, edit, and write programs in PC-DMIS (training provided). Help keep the CMM in top condition through calibration checks and troubleshooting. Support efficient workflow and accurate reporting. What We’re Looking For: Successful candidates will have foundational skills, a keen eye for small details, the desire and capacity to build knowledge, develop independence, and become self-sufficient in their work. Some experience or coursework in manufacturing, machining, or quality inspection. Familiarity with measurement tools, blueprints, or GD&T concepts is beneficial. Basic computer skills (Excel, CAD, or similar programs). Strong problem-solving mindset and ability to attention to detail. Valid driver’s license (occasional travel between facilities ~3 miles apart). Ability to lift up to 30 pounds and perform essential job functions safely.
