General Summary: Responsible for operating and programming coordinate measuring machine (CMM) for internal requirements and customer supplied designs.

Requirements

• Good written and verbal communication skills.
• Knowledge of PC’s and related software.
• Ability to read prints and understand Geometric Dimensioning and Tolerancing
• Knowledge of AIAG support manuals (APQP, SRC, FMEA, MSA, PPAP)
• Prior CMM training – required
• CMM field experience – 5 years

Responsibilities

• Develop, maintain and execute CMM programs in accordance to customer designs and internal requirements.
• Interpret blueprints for a variety of machined components.
• Perform gage calibration and gage repair.
• Participate in completion of Gage R&R studies.
• Participate in Capability Analysis.
• Utilize various inspection tools to complete in-process inspections.
• Complete all other assigned tasks as determined by management.
