About The Position

The Certified Medical Assistant or LPN provides assistance to the physicians and practitioners with patient care, administrative, environmental and organizational tasks. Our ideal candidate will be detail oriented, compassionate, and enthusiastic about providing top notch care to our patients. Requirements

Requires a High School Diploma or GED and
Current CMA certification from an accredited program or active LPN license in the state of Ohio
Strong understanding of medical terminology and procedures
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
Proficiency in the electronic health records (EHR) systems
Ability to work effectively in a fast pace environment
Current CPR certification, if not it must be obtained within 60 days of employment and kept current thereafter.

Responsibilities

Greets patients and assists with patient flow
Assist physicians with patient examinations, procedures, and treatments
Collect and record patient medical histories, vitals, and other pertinent information
Perform routine laboratory tests and sample collection
Educate patients on procedures, treatment plans, medications, and preventative care
Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
Ensure compliance with all healthcare regulations and office policies
Follow all health care privacy and safety rules and adheres to Dayton Physicians Core Values
Other duties as assigned
