About The Position

As a CMA Coordinator, Benefits, you will play a critical role in ensuring individuals receiving Long-Term Care (LTC) Medicaid services remain financially eligible. You’ll collaborate with internal teams, community partners, and state agencies to maintain compliance, resolve eligibility issues, and support continuity of care. You are detail-oriented, mission-driven, and thrive in a role that blends compliance, problem-solving, and human connection.

Requirements

  • A Bachelor’s degree, (or equivalent experience in long-term services and supports, vulnerable population, non-profit)
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Ability to manage multiple systems and technical tools (Microsoft 365, CBMS, etc.)
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A high level of empathy, emotional intelligence, and cultural awareness
  • Strong critical thinking and problem-solving abilities

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in case management, Medicaid waiver programs, or LTSS (preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Managing and submitting Level of Care (LOC), CSR, and redetermination documentation
  • Monitoring cases in Colorado Benefits Management System (CBMS)
  • Coordinating with Department of Human Services (DHS) and Health Care Policy & Financing (HCPF)
  • Investigating and resolving eligibility issues to prevent service disruptions
  • Maintaining accurate, compliant documentation across multiple systems
  • Building strong relationships with clients, families, and partners
  • Supporting person-centered care through detailed case analysis
