About The Position

A Clubhouse Landscape Groundskeeper maintains the aesthetic appeal, cleanliness, and safety of a club's exterior, including gardens, walkways, and parking areas. Key responsibilities include mowing, planting, pruning, debris removal, and operating machinery like mowers and leaf blowers. Strong physical stamina, attention to detail, and often early morning, weekend, or holiday work are required.

Requirements

• Ability to perform heavy manual labor, including walking, lifting, bending, and working in extreme weather conditions.
• Knowledge of proper pruning techniques and operation of power tools.

Responsibilities

• Mowing, edging, and trimming turf, shrubs, and trees around the clubhouse and facilities.
• Planting, fertilizing, weeding, and pruning flowers, trees, and shrubs to maintain a lush appearance.
• Daily blowing of paths, parking lots, and hardscapes; removing trash and debris from all outdoor areas.
• Ensuring irrigation systems are functioning properly and performing hand watering when necessary.
• Safely operating machinery such as riding/push mowers, string trimmers, hedge trimmers, chain saws, and blowers.
• Assisting with seasonal landscaping, installing mulch, and aiding in site renovations.
• Monitoring for diseased plants or damaged trees, repairing irrigation issues, and keeping outdoor furniture clean.
