About The Position

Promptly greet and provide an exceptional guest experience with the expectation to deliver fine-dining bar service and hospitality. The hours are from 10am-5pm and 5pm-11pm, ending hours may vary depending on business volume.

Requirements

Must be 21 years of age
Minimum of 2 years of bartending experience in the restaurant or club industry
Knowledgeable of craft cocktails, beer, wine and spirits
Experienced with keg and soda systems
Experience in cash handling and Point of Sale System
Ability to stand for extended periods.
Manual dexterity to handle bar equipment and glassware.
Capable of lifting 50 pounds
Must be able to bend, squat, lift and raise as needed along with carrying 10 pounds for an extended distance
General math skills, problem solving and decision-making skills
Must complete the Responsible Beverage Service Training Course
Ability to obtain a bartender operating license
Ability to communicate with guests and employees with a positive attitude

Responsibilities

Consult check lists to ensure bar area is properly set up and ready for bar service, and all opening and closing procedures are properly completed
Clean and organize Village Clubhouse Bar Area
Check tee sheets and daily events Google Docs for direction and guest payment details
Maintain floor presence and greeting guests upon arrival
Anticipate guests’ needs and respond promptly
Be knowledgeable of potential food allergens or food sensitivity concerns in available products/menu items. Communicate any guest allergies/needs effectively with all F&B team members as needed.
Stay up-to-date on current menu choices, allergens, daily specials and menu variations, specialty cocktails, beer, wine and spirit selections
Accurately prepare mixed drinks, beer and wine for guests while adhering to portion control standards put in place by management
Prepare beverages for servers during service hours
Facilitate to-go guest orders
Provide lunch/dinner service to guests dining at the bar
Be well-versed and prepared to communicate history, product offerings and services of Erin Hills
Ensure guests receive beverages in a timely manner
Ensure guests are enjoying their bar experience by table touch
Effectively handle guest requests, complaints or problems with a positive attitude
Handle all payments accurately
Properly and fully complete all side-work, cleaning and closing duties
Ensure all radio communication is respectful, professional and courteous
Responsibly check guests’ identification to ensure that they meet the minimum age requirements to consume alcoholic beverages and tobacco products
Respectfully refuse beverage service to guests whom appear overly intoxicated and inform management immediately
Adhere to safety standards and sanitation regulations as provided by Erin Hills and OSHA
Follow guidelines and policies set forth by Erin Hills Employee Handbook
