About The Position

Supervises and coordinates activities for Club Meskwaki and assists with the supervision for coat check during an assigned shift.

Requirements

  • High School Diploma or GED.
  • Must be able to obtain a gaming license in accordance to the regulations established by the Sac & Fox Gaming Commission.
  • Must be able to work directly with the general public.
  • Must be flexible with working hours and days off.
  • Must possess good interpersonal and communication skills, both verbal and written and be able to effectively instruct and guide all subordinates.
  • Requires the ability to handle multiple tasks at the same time and to handle busy and stressful situations.
  • Must possess good computer skills.
  • Possess tact, diplomacy and initiative in resolving of guest or employee concerns.
  • Must be able to meet all internal supervisory or higher, training and education requirements.

Nice To Haves

  • Previous marketing or guest service experience preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Ensures adequate staffing levels for Club Meskwaki during an assigned shift.
  • Supervises and maintains personnel records for Player’s Club Associates and fosters a team approach to all staff.
  • Answer all guest requests for information about the casino and surrounding area.
  • Ensures a high level of integrity and confidentiality with guest and employee data.
  • Facilitates staff meeting with Player’s Club Associates as necessary.
  • Coordinate and track all training for personnel.
  • Maintains an inventory of all equipment, brochures, and supplies to ensure accurate accountability and operation of the Club.
  • Complete and maintain weekly payroll records.
  • Have knowledge and ensure all staff adhere to all departmental and company policies.
  • Ensure accurate accountability with the guest comp program.
  • Will assume duties of the Club Manager when assigned by Marketing Director/Club Manager.
  • Communicates and networks effectively with staff, other departments, and outside representatives in order to maintain a productive and effective department operation.
  • Safeguard and account for the assets of the owners.
  • Comply with policies and procedures required by the department, the company, the Meskwaki Gaming Commission, and the National Indian Gaming Commission.
  • Monitor the casino environment and follow established safety procedures to provide for the safety of guests and co-workers.
  • Work respectfully and effectively as part of the company team to ensure guest satisfaction, asset protection, and co-worker respect.
  • May issue printed self comps, cash-back and point redemption vouchers, and Approved/PBT to customers in accordance with established policies and procedures.
  • Report to work on time and as required in professional attire, display a high level of personal cleanliness and follow personal appearance standards.
  • Responds to all reports, scheduling and flow of information within the casino.
  • Participates in planning and implementation of promotions.
  • Assist with check out for game side servers.
  • Assist with coat check to ensure operation runs smoothly.
  • Have knowledge of all office machines in the Club.
  • Attends all required meetings and training sessions.
  • Performs other job related duties as assigned.
