About The Position

The Cloud Transition Manager is responsible for technical transition planning, platform readiness coordination, and governance alignment across the cloud onboarding lifecycle. This role ensures that environments, platforms, and technical dependencies are properly sequenced and governed to support successful transition into cloud and SaaS environments. As an early technical resource engaged during onboarding, you will work across engineering, platform, and delivery teams to ensure readiness, reduce risk, and enable predictable execution.

Requirements

  • 4+ years of experience leading or supporting complex technical initiatives involving cloud platforms, SaaS environments, or large-scale system transitions
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to clearly convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical audiences
  • Must demonstrate a working knowledge of provisioning environments and sequencing technical requirements and dependencies across complex systems
  • Strong understanding of environment provisioning, platform readiness, and technical dependency management
  • Ability to translate high-level milestones into structured, executable technical plans
  • Experience coordinating work across multiple technical teams and domains
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to identify risks early and drive resolution
  • Strong organizational skills with attention to detail and execution discipline
  • Experience working in structured or governance-driven environments is preferred
  • Demonstrated ability to operate independently while coordinating across multiple stakeholders

Responsibilities

  • Represent the cloud transition function in pre-planning and onboarding activities to support environment strategy and technical readiness
  • Support planning efforts by identifying technical dependencies, sequencing requirements, and platform constraints
  • Coordinate technical activities across cross-functional teams to ensure environments are provisioned and ready for use
  • Translate onboarding milestones into structured technical plans aligned to lifecycle readiness
  • Identify, communicate, and mitigate risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate when appropriate
  • Contribute to readiness checkpoints and provide technical input into go / no-go decisions
  • Ensure technical activities and decisions are documented and traceable to support governance and audit requirements
  • Collaborate across teams to align execution and maintain visibility into technical progress and readiness
