About The Position
We are seeking a highly accomplished Senior Principal Cloud Architect with 22+ years of industry experience to lead the design, modernization, and governance of enterprise-scale cloud-native and Big Data platforms. This role demands deep technical expertise, architectural leadership, and the ability to align cloud strategies with business objectives across large, complex organizations.
Responsibilities
- Define and own end-to-end cloud architecture for large-scale data platforms, cloud applications, and distributed systems.
- Architect high-performance Big Data solutions using PySpark, batch and real-time data processing frameworks.
- Design scalable, resilient, secure, and cost-optimized solutions across public, private, and hybrid cloud environments.
- Establish enterprise-wide reference architectures, standards, and best practices.
- Lead design and optimization of Big Data ecosystems including data lakes, data warehouses, and streaming pipelines.
- Drive implementation of PySpark-based ETL/ELT frameworks for large-scale structured and unstructured data.
- Review and guide performance tuning, scalability, and fault tolerance of data pipelines.
