Role We are looking for a Cloud Operations Project Manager - Platform Service Delivery to join our Platform Service Delivery team within Reliability Engineering and Infrastructure Services, reporting to the Manager, Cloud Operations, Platform Service Delivery. This is an onsite role based in San Jose, CA, requiring presence in the office three days a week. You will support our growing platform programs by managing a unique blend of technical project management and vendor relations. This role requires a hands-on technical background in data center services, carrier networks, and infrastructure to deliver creative solutions in a dynamic environment.

Requirements

  • 7+ years of project management experience with a focus on IP transit carriers and data center technologies
  • Professional experience and deep understanding of global data center operations and carrier services
  • Proven track record of executing on tight timelines and managing complex vendor relationships
  • Demonstrated ability to manage and organize high volumes of project-related communications and documentation
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to work effectively both independently and within a team-oriented environment

Responsibilities

  • Plan, implement, document, and manage new data center and expansion sites, including colocation space, IP transit, and structured fiber cabling
  • Partner with third-party vendors to ensure seamless order management and delivery of platform services
  • Coordinate across functional teams to streamline communications and keep technical documentation current
  • Interpret carrier KMZs and leverage knowledge of DWDM technology and dark fiber to ensure site implementations align with diverse routing requirements
  • Provide technical guidance and troubleshooting support during site test and turn-up activities
