About The Position

The Cloud/Network Engineer will be responsible for network operations, administration and engineering tasks. They will participate in the ongoing support for on-premise network systems using current and emerging technologies along with supporting the Cloud environment. Maintains overall network health and carries out network tasks based on business objectives. Responsible for administration, documentation, and security of network equipment. Works well with others in a team environment. Work with teams and customers to understand cloud networking requirements for upcoming projects; develop and document Wide Area Networks (WANs) / Local Area Networks (LANs) Create network designs, implementation plans, operational documentation, and continual improvement of cloud network services Evaluate and recommend potential cloud networking solutions for inclusion into customer cloud service offerings and application migration solutions; participate in the procurement of network devices. Providing technical support to install and deploy new technologies as they are adopted, including hardware, software, network communications hardware and software, security products, and other information technology products or services required to support the operations and maintenance environment.

Requirements

  • Demonstrated excellence in verbal and written communication, with the ability to effectively convey technical information to diverse audiences.
  • Experience in Information Technology, supporting complex systems and delivering reliable technical solutions across diverse environments.
  • Skilled in deploying and managing cloud-based network services and monitoring tools, with a focus on performance optimization, security, and scalability.
  • Active IAT II (Security+) Certification.
  • Active Top Secret clearance with SCI eligibility.
  • Minimum of 10 years experience with an Associate's degree.
  • Minimum of 8 years experience with a Bachelor's degree.
  • Minimum of 6 years experience with a Master's degree.
  • Minimum of 3 years experience with a Ph.D.
  • Degree in Information Technology, Software Engineer, Computer Science, Data Science, Information Systems, or Cybersecurity (or four years of additional experience can be accepted in lieu of a BA/BS degree).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with transitioning from IPv4 to IPv6.
  • Experience with Cisco, Azure, and AWS.
  • Experience with Microsoft Visio.
  • Certifications (e.g. CCNA, CCNP, Microsoft Azure, AWS certifications).
