Our Architecture Services team provides Architectural services that clients, sales and other internal business units can consume. The Architecture Services team is responsible for creating, maintaining, and overseeing the integrity of end-to-end technology designs and solutions ensuring they address specific opportunity and project business requirements. The work within the team predominantly consists of client-facing pre-sales and project-related activity. With growth in our Architecture Services team, we are now seeking a Cloud Lead to take on a key role in our Melbourne team. Primary Accountabilities The successful candidate will bring a strong blend of hands ‑ on technical capability and architectural leadership. While the role contributes to design and governance activities, the majority of time will be spent actively building, delivering, and improving solutions within a complex, multi-team environment. A key responsibility will be designing, implementing, and optimising automation, delivery pipelines, and cloud-native solutions using modern tooling and engineering practices. The candidate will work closely with product teams to troubleshoot issues, enhance platform reliability, and remove barriers to efficient delivery. Alongside this delivery focus, the role will contribute to architectural direction by participating in design reviews, engaging with the organisation’s design authority, and ensuring solutions align to agreed patterns and standards. The candidate will help shape and maintain roadmaps that balance near-term delivery needs with longer-term evolution of the technical environment. The role will also support continuous improvement across people, process, and technology. This includes identifying opportunities to uplift engineering practices, streamline operational workflows, and promote effective cross-team collaboration to ensure sustainable and scalable ways of working. The environment leverages a variety of tools, including: GitHub / AWS CodeCommit CloudFormation / Terraform / Ansible AWS CodePipeline / Jenkins / GitHub Actions AWS CloudWatch The ideal candidate will demonstrate practical, hands-on experience using these tools in complex delivery environments; enabling high-quality code deployment, automation, observability, and governance across multiple teams.
