About The Position

As a Cloud Computing Infrastructure Architect, you will leverage your expertise in cloud capabilities to support clients in modernizing their information technology infrastructure and achieving their mission objectives. You will collaborate closely with other cloud architects and engineers specializing in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud infrastructure and solution components. Working within the DoD provided OCI environment, you will explore innovative solutions to client challenges and partner with stakeholders to deliver effective technical solutions. This role involves modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or building new ones from scratch, utilizing the latest technology and working alongside skilled teammates.

Requirements

3+ years of experience building, operating, and maintaining compliant computing environments
1+ years of experience with OCI
Experience with DoD Information Assurance policies and practices for Linux and Windows
Experience with the RedHat operating system
Experience with Windows Active Directory
Experience with OCI cloud-native infrastructure, including VCN, Security Groups (SGs), and IAM policies
Experience coordinating, testing, validating, and troubleshooting data connections, including Java Database Connectivity
Top Secret clearance
Bachelor's degree
Security+ Certification

Nice To Haves

Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, including Terraform
Experience configuring Secure Socket Layer and Transport Layer Security connections
Experience with application containerization
Ability to design and deploy networks in OCI, including VCN, SGs, and NACLs
TS/SCI clearance
CISSP Certification
Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Certification

Collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud infrastructure and solution components
Work within the DoD provided OCI environment exploring different ways of solving clients’ challenges
Partner with stakeholders and the team to deliver the right technical solutions
Modernize legacy computing platforms and applications or build new ones from scratch
