About The Position

As a Cloud Computing Infrastructure Architect, you will leverage your expertise in cloud capabilities to support clients in modernizing their information technology infrastructure and achieving their most challenging missions. You will closely collaborate with fellow cloud architects and engineers specializing in Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI) to design, define, develop, test, and debug cloud infrastructure and solution components. Working within the DoD provided OCI environment, you will explore different ways of solving client challenges and partner with stakeholders and your team to deliver the right technical solutions. This role involves modernizing legacy computing platforms and applications or building new ones from scratch, utilizing the latest technology and a team of experts.

Requirements

  • 3+ years of experience building, operating, and maintaining compliant computing environments
  • 1+ years of experience with OCI
  • Experience with DoD Information Assurance policies and practices for Linux and Windows
  • Experience with the RedHat operating system
  • Experience with Windows Active Directory
  • Experience with OCI cloud-native infrastructure, including VCN, Security Groups (SGs), and IAM policies
  • Experience coordinating, testing, validating, and troubleshooting data connections, including Java Database Connectivity
  • Top Secret clearance
  • Bachelor's degree
  • Security+ Certification

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with Infrastructure-as-Code, including Terraform
  • Experience configuring Secure Socket Layer and Transport Layer Security connections
  • Experience with application containerization
  • Ability to design and deploy networks in OCI, including VCN, SGs, and NACLs
  • TS/SCI clearance
  • CISSP Certification
  • Oracle Cloud Infrastructure Certified Architect Certification
