For this position, we are seeking a talented individual to join AIS as a Senior Infrastructure Architect. Core Knowledge & Skills: Sets enterprise‑level infrastructure strategy; leads global architectures and integrations; manages worldwide environments; is recognized externally as a thought leader. Work & Complexity: Oversees multi‑region programs, coordinates global delivery, applies analytics to predict/mitigate issues, and steers strategic vendor partnerships. As your initial project assignment, you will support the unique needs of our client as a Cloud Enterprise Services Engineer - Master-Level. Project Summary AIS is supporting a new Leidos account focused on architecture and infrastructure services in the Boston/Hanscom area. This is a subcontract engagement (approximately 15% workshare) with significant near-term hiring demand (~50 roles) to support federal mission delivery. Roles are primarily remote, with Massachusetts candidates preferred and availability targeted for March/April.
Requirements
- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent experience).
- 15+ years of relevant experience supporting enterprise cloud and/or infrastructure environments.
- Certifications: IAT-2, 1 or more cloud certifications.
- Able to obtain a minimum of a Secret security clearance; active Secret preferred.
- Experience working in regulated environments and following secure engineering / documentation practices.
Nice To Haves
- Active Secret clearance (or higher).
- Massachusetts-based candidate or ability to support periodic on-site needs at Leidos sites in Concord or Tewksbury, MA.
- Experience supporting DoD/IC programs and mission systems.
Responsibilities
- Builds new and improved existing automation and scripted tools to scale enterprise cloud offerings
- Assists with activities around auditing, reporting, and managing cloud based services and offerings
- Executes and manages special projects that enhance enterprise services environments
- Develops workflows to help in improvements to scaling of cloud related operations across the enterprise
- Considered a recognized authority within the company
- Works on unusually complex technical problems and provides solutions which are highly innovative
- Design and build automation/scripts to scale enterprise cloud service offerings and operational workflows.
- Support audits, reporting, and governance activities for cloud services across the enterprise.
