About The Position

As a Cloud Engineer, you will play a pivotal role in designing, implementing, and maintaining scalable and secure cloud infrastructure that supports core SaaS applications. You will manage CI/CD pipelines, optimize system performance, and ensure reliability and security across cloud environments. This role involves close collaboration with development teams to deploy serverless and database-driven applications while implementing best practices in cloud architecture. You will have the opportunity to influence operational efficiency, system automation, and cost optimization, contributing directly to the success of enterprise clients. Ideal candidates are hands-on, proactive, and passionate about modern cloud technologies, DevOps practices, and sustainable technology solutions.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience as a Cloud Engineer or DevOps Engineer in Azure environments.
  • Strong knowledge of Infrastructure as Code (IaC) principles, particularly using Azure Bicep.
  • Hands-on experience with Azure DevOps, Azure Functions, MS SQL, and related Azure services.
  • Proficiency with CI/CD tools such as Azure DevOps Pipelines or GitHub Actions.
  • Familiarity with containerization and orchestration (Docker, Kubernetes on Azure).
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Bash, or Python).
  • Experience with monitoring, logging, and alerting tools in cloud environments.
  • Excellent problem-solving, collaboration, and communication skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Azure certifications (AZ-104, AZ-204, AZ-400)
  • DevSecOps experience
  • ESG/sustainability awareness
  • Familiarity with SOC2 or security standards.

Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage cloud infrastructure using Azure services and Infrastructure-as-Code tools such as Bicep.
  • Build, maintain, and optimize CI/CD pipelines to enable frequent and reliable software releases.
  • Collaborate with development teams to deploy and integrate Azure Functions, .NET/C# applications, and MS SQL databases.
  • Monitor and troubleshoot infrastructure performance, ensuring security, scalability, and cost efficiency.
  • Implement best practices in cloud architecture, networking, and security to maintain high availability and compliance standards.
  • Support infrastructure upgrades, new deployment patterns, and automation initiatives.
