About The Position

The Cloud DevOps Engineer Intern on the Cloud Infrastructure Development Team will support, maintain, and enhance the Cloud Common Platform Next, working on infrastructure development and automation using AWS Cloud Technologies and Terraform to create standard, easily consumable design patterns that Application Teams can leverage to accelerate the secure adoption of cloud capabilities. Additional Details The Intern will work full-time as a Cloud DevOps Engineer Intern within the Technology Department. This role is offered as a remote workplace position, which may require travel for trainings, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time may be spent in an approved remote location, away from our Corporate Campus. Please note, while this is a remote position, there is limited group of states or localities ineligible for Employees to regularly perform their work off-site. Those ineligible locations are: Alaska, California, Colorado, Delaware, Illinois, Iowa, Massachusetts, Maryland, Montana, New Jersey, New Hampshire New York, North Dakota, South Dakota, Oregon, Pennsylvania, Vermont, Washington, West Virginia, and Wyoming, and Puerto Rico. If you currently reside in an ineligible location, you may relocate to an eligible location and be considered for an internship. U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. required and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available. Requirements

  • High School Diploma, GED or equivalent education required.
  • Progress towards an undergraduate or graduate degree in Business, Engineering, Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Infrastructure Engineering, Information Technology of Infrastructure, Information Systems, Cybersecurity, or related degree required.
  • To be eligible, you must be currently enrolled as a full-time student (as defined by your university) at the time of application and during the internship .
  • Minimum 2.5 cumulative GPA at the time of application.
  • Ability to prioritize effectively.
  • Ability to develop, present, and effectively communicate ideas to a variety of audiences .
  • Ability to take on multiple assignments, whether administrative or project-related, while maintaining a successful level of completion in all responsible work .
  • ​Ability to work effectively in a strong Customer service / team-oriented environment .
  • Ability to manage and learn new technologies/services/features .
  • Ability to partner and communicate with various Technology Teams .
  • Must be at least 18 years of age.
  • You must have a valid U.S. Social Security Number to complete the full hiring process.
  • Required: Full-time 40 hours a week
  • Must maintain a consistent weekly schedule during normal business hours at a max of 8 hours per day
  • Program Dates: May 19 – August 7, 2026
  • U.S. citizenship or current authorization to work in the U.S. required and no current or future work authorization sponsorship available.

Nice To Haves

  • Progress towards a 4-year undergraduate degree preferred
  • 1-2 semesters remaining at the time the internship ends is preferred .
  • Experience with AWS Cloud services, including Lambda, Step Functions, VPC configurations, and resource optimization.
  • Experience with unit testing frameworks and practices to ensure code reliability and maintainability.
  • Knowledge of infrastructure-as-code (IAC)
  • Classroom and/or industry experience with Terraform, Docker, GitLab, Python.
  • Knowledge of Agile methodologies such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe.
  • Prior technology internship experience
  • Demonstrated involvement in activities beyond academic major, such as student organizations, part-time work, volunteer roles, campus leadership, etc.

  • Creating and maintaining enterprise-level cloud-based infrastructure, automation pipelines, platforms, and processes.
  • Work in an environment that involves cloud infrastructure automation, software development, and gaining expertise in many diverse technologies in the domain of cloud computing, continuous integration and deployment, storage, databases, messaging, and security.
