About The Position

Mc3 Partners is supporting a mission‑driven federal initiative focused on building a secure multicloud and edge‑emulation environment leveraging Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI). This role plays a key part in designing, deploying, and operating high‑performance cloud environments that power large‑scale simulations, GPU workloads, and next-generation edge system testing. We’re looking for a Cloud Developer who thrives in technical problem‑solving, enjoys working across multiple stakeholder groups, and can support complex engineering environments within secure cloud regions.

Requirements

  • Experience developing in cloud environments, ideally including Oracle Cloud Infrastructure (OCI).
  • Hands‑on experience with HPC, GPU‑accelerated workloads, or distributed compute using RDMA networks.
  • Experience with cloud‑native tools, automation, and Infrastructure‑as‑Code workflows.
  • Ability to interface with federal teams, hardware vendors, and industry partners.
  • Familiarity with system modeling, emulation, simulation, or hardware parameterization.
  • Active Secret Clearance (required to start).

Nice To Haves

  • Experience in DoD or secure cloud environments (IL5 or similar).
  • Background in edge computing, embedded systems, or sensor‑driven architectures.
  • Knowledge of AI/ML model deployment, model evaluation workflows, or model garden environments.
  • Experience supporting technical demos, engineering reviews, or cross-functional collaboration.

Responsibilities

  • Support the design and deployment of multicloud environments centered on OCI.
  • Build scalable compute environments using OCI bare metal, VMs, GPU instances, and RDMA cluster networking.
  • Ensure architecture and deployments align with IL5‑approved patterns and federal security requirements.
  • Capture and formalize edge device specifications including hardware, networking, communication protocols, sensors, and system constraints.
  • Develop and maintain a structured database of these parameters.
  • Lead and participate in working groups, sprints, and technical exchanges with government and industry partners.
  • Deliver updates, recommendations, and briefings to leadership.
  • Collaborate with stakeholders and vendors to determine and implement appropriate emulation software.
  • Configure OCI compute, storage, and networking to run edge emulation workloads at scale.
  • Capture emulation outputs in a cloud‑based data warehouse to support model testing and performance scoring.
  • Demonstrate capabilities during program events and engineering reviews.

Benefits

  • At Mc3, we focus on integrity, partnership, and delivering exceptional talent to mission‑critical programs. This role offers the opportunity to work on high‑impact projects shaping next‑generation edge simulation and cloud engineering capabilities.
  • If you're looking for challenging work inside a forward‑leaning federal environment, we’d love to connect.
