About The Position

Scientific Research Corporation (SRC) is seeking a highly skilled Cloud Architect to join our Cloud Service Integration Team (CSIT). This role supports multiple Department of War (DoW) customers across a range of Salesforce configuration and integration projects. Designing, implementing, and managing cloud computing strategies and infrastructure with a strong emphasis on security, cost-efficiency, and scalability Using exceptional problem-solving abilities, effective communication skills, and a deep understanding of secure cloud environments that meet the rigorous standards of our government clients Traveling to customer sites and/or secure facilities FILLING THIS POSITION IS CONTINGENT UPON FUNDING #LI-SF1

Requirements

  • Proven experience with SaaS or PaaS implementations
  • Hands-on experience managing and executing multiple cloud systems
  • Ability to collaborate with existing teams to enhance capabilities and develop new functionality
  • Expertise in designing and architecting solutions based on business processes and technical requirements
  • Proficient in user management, including provisioning profiles, roles, and permission sets
  • Ability to contribute to the development of internal CSIT processes and procedures
  • Experience supporting Risk Management Framework (RMF) documentation and implementing security controls
  • Capable of assessing current implementations and identifying opportunities for growth and capability expansion
  • Strong analytical skills to evaluate systems/processes, identify improvements, and clearly communicate benefits to stakeholders
  • Technical proficiency in: APEX, APEX Triggers, Visualforce, Flows, API integrations Lightning Web Components, CRM Analytics (previously Einstein Analytics) HTML, Java, SQL, SOQL
  • Experience in problem-solving using data analysis, inference, and logical reasoning
  • Ability to develop and maintain training materials and user documentation
  • Experience maintaining data and system security for deployed solutions
  • Prior experience leading modernization or transformation initiatives in secure environments
  • Must possess or be eligible to obtain a U.S. Government security clearance (Secret or higher)
  • Hybrid work arrangement is authorized for this position but may change depending on project needs
  • Experience in problem-solving using data analysis, inference, and logical reasoning

Nice To Haves

  • Self-motivated with strong discipline and problem-solving acumen
  • Experience supporting intelligence community (IC) environments
  • Familiarity with SIPRNet, JWICS, and CENTRIXS data-sharing systems
  • Exposure to military logistics systems (a plus)
  • Experience with joint or multinational systems
  • Background in proposal writing and business development
  • Understanding of DoD acquisition, funding, inventory, and HR systems
  • Five plus (5+) years of relevant experience preferred
  • Knowledge of cloud environments, network architecture, security design, and programming
  • Experience with Salesforce GovCloud
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Excel, Outlook, Word, PowerPoint)
  • Proficiency in Atlassian Suite
  • Salesforce certifications: Salesforce Technical Architect (preferred)
  • Salesforce Administrator
  • Active clearance preferred
