About The Position

JCS Solutions is seeking a Cloud Administrator to join their team. This position plays a vital role in the successful delivery and sustainment of cybersecurity services for commercial and NIPR subscribers under the C5ISR DEVCOM Cybersecurity Service Provider (CSSP) umbrella. This individual will support core CSSP service operations including customer onboarding, Nessus scanner management, Tier 1 cloud log monitoring, and Kibana customer access administration. Acting as a front-line operator, the Cloud Administrator ensures that subscribers receive timely, accurate, and in-scope support throughout the lifecycle of their CSSP engagement. This position requires strong technical acumen, exceptional communication skills, and the ability to collaborate across multiple internal teams to maintain service quality and responsiveness. Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science, information technology, or a related field or minimum of 8 years Work experience in a cloud administration, IT Administration, or cybersecurity role
  • Must possess an active DoD secret clearance
  • Red Hat Linux CLI
  • ACAS/Tenable.sc Products (e.g., Nessus, SecurityCenter)
  • Ansible
  • Understanding of networking concepts, and related tooling
  • Kibana
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Ability to work effectively with internal CSSP teams and external customers
  • Strong attention to detail and ability to manage tasks across multiple subscribers
  • Must be a U.S. citizenship and hold an active DoD TS/SCI at time of consideration

  • Experience with Jira or ticketing systems preferred

Responsibilities

  • Execute established onboarding workflows for new CSSP cloud subscribers
  • Ensure proper recordkeeping throughout the onboarding lifecycle
  • Deliver clear, informative communication to subscribers during onboarding
  • Identify and recommend improvements internally to onboarding processes
  • Coordinate with internal teams to ensure timely resolution of onboarding issues
  • Monitor health and performance of Nessus scanners across all customer environments
  • Create and track tickets for scanner issues and execute timely remediation
  • Collaborate with subscribers to resolve scanner deployment or connectivity issues
  • Recommend or implement automation/improvements for scanner monitoring
  • Perform Tier 1 monitoring of cloud log feeds from AWS, Azure, Google Cloud, Oracle Cloud, and SaaS Applications
  • Identify log ingestion failures or performance issues and take corrective action
  • Collaborate with subscribers and escalate issues to Tier 2/3 teams when needed
  • Process subscriber Kibana access requests via Jira
  • Ensure account creation is performed in accordance with internal standards and subscriber agreements
  • Maintain detailed records of access provisioning
