About The Position

This newly created Closing Coordinator role in the Denver office involves managing a wide range of responsibilities, including the preparation, organization, proofreading, and assembly of closing documents. The role requires close collaboration with lawyers, paralegals, legal administrative assistants, and project assistants to ensure timely and high-quality closing support for the Real Estate Finance Team. This is a hybrid position with a work schedule of 3 days in the office.

Requirements

  • Experience as a legal administrative assistant, paralegal, closing coordinator, or project assistant, preferably with a title company, mortgage company, law firm, or other firm providing services to lenders or mortgage companies.
  • A high degree of proficiency in MS Word, Outlook, and Excel, and Adobe, and other practice area databases, as appropriate.

Nice To Haves

  • A four-year college degree is preferred.

Responsibilities

  • Review and assemble all loan documents and signature pages prior to and following execution, ensuring a thorough final quality check.
  • Maintain a detailed list of all pending transactions.
  • Organize and request all necessary documents for closing.
  • Provide data collection support and management of deal checklists.
  • Keep the team updated on deal statuses and upcoming deadlines.
  • Prepare, organize, and proofread transaction and closing documents.
  • Coordinate with transaction parties and internal staff to manage timely deliveries.
  • Handle post-closing logistics efficiently to enhance client satisfaction.
  • Create detailed post-closing documentation and binders.
  • Liaise with various internal departments while maintaining confidentiality.
