About The Position

Axos Bank is seeking a Closing Assistant is responsible for assisting the Closers with day-to-day activities as it relates primarily to Closing Disclosures and Closing Loan Documents.

Requirements

• HS Diploma
• Must have in-depth knowledge of RESPA and TRID guidelines

Responsibilities

• Handle all third party and borrower questions/communications.
• Return calls and emails in a timely manner (typically in response to Closing Disclosure questions) and provide outstanding customer service.
• Monitor and clear shared inbox, including updating LOS with key dates and uploading borrower acknowledgments
• Complete a pre-check of files before a Closer is assigned to a file to issue Initial Closing Disclosures
• Assist with issuing Initial Closing Disclosures, Closing Doc redraws, and Final Closing Disclosures, as needed
• Follow up on audit items with processors
• Other duties as assigned to include cross training on closing and funding
