About The Position

Applies fiberglass and resin to gel coated small parts molds by performing the following duties.

Requirements

• High School diploma or general education degree (GED); or one to three months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions.
• General math skills required.
• Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out detailed but uninvolved written or oral instructions. Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
• Must be able to stand for long periods of time.
• Must be able to push and pull small parts molds.
• Lift up to 30 pounds.

Responsibilities

• Move parts into position into the Small Parts RTM workstation.
• Prep parts in accordance with Cobalt standards.
• Select appropriate fiberglass kit according to part model. Lay out laminate eliminating air voids using specific hand tools, etc.
• Trim excess material from mold using cutting tool.
• Seal mold using vacuum system.
• Mix catalyst into resin using the injection pump.
• Other duties may be assigned.
• Perform in accordance with Cobalt’s safety policies and procedures.
