About The Position

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors is seeking a highly motivated licensed Clinician who is eager to serve military-connected youth, families, and service members. The Cohen Clinic offers a variety of services to Post-9/11 Veterans, Active-Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard members, and their families. Cohen Clinic Clinicians work closely with a multidisciplinary team to provide telehealth and in-person therapy services, with a focus on delivering time-limited, measurement based-care. The Play Therapy and Family Therapy rooms at the Cohen Clinic offer an ideal treatment environment for Clinicians working with youth and family clients. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion and experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families and is familiar with military culture. The Cohen Clinic is committed to training, consultation, and clinical proficiency, offering training in evidence-based practices, including CBT, CPT, EFT, CBT-I, PE, and play therapy interventions. Requirements

• Doctorate or Master’s degree in psychology, social work, clinical mental health counseling, or in marriage and family therapy is required.
• Independent licensure to practice as a Psychologist (PHD, PSYD), Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is preferred.
• Eligibility to bill Tricare is required.
• A minimum of three years of experience is preferred.
• Experience working with adults, children, couples, and families is required
• Knowledge in DSM-V diagnoses is required
• Experience in diagnosing and treatment planning is required
• Candidate must be willing to receive training in preferred EBPs.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills
• Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
• Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
• Driver’s License with clear record.
• Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
• Although uncommon, must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.

Nice To Haves

• Certification or documented proficiency in one or more of the following EBP’s: CBT, PE, or CPT is preferred.
• Experience working with military populations and/or Veterans is strongly preferred

Responsibilities

• Maintain a goal of 26 client contact hours per week.
• Perform and document client screenings, biopsychosocial assessments, and progress notes, including referral information.
• Provides individual therapy for adults and children, as well as couples, family, and group therapy, with a focus on evidence-based treatments.
• Collaborate and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to deliver high-quality mental health care.
• Attend weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
