About The Position
HeartShare St. Vincent’s (HSVS) Mental Health Outpatient Treatment and Rehabilitative Services Outpatient Behavioral Health Clinic is committed to a client-centered, family-focused and culturally responsive approach to clinical services; welcoming all persons with kindness and respect, and effectively engaging clients in a broad spectrum of high quality, highly individualized behavioral health services. The therapist is responsible for engaging individuals and families referred to the mental health clinic, conducting assessments and providing evidenced based treatments. Therapy will be provided by a hybrid of services by tele-mental health and on-site treatment at the downtown Brooklyn clinic. We provide weekly clinical supervision by LCSW, LCAT-ATR, BC, ATCS supervisors, evidenced-based training, group supervision, agency cell phone and laptop. Full -Time clinicians are expected to work afternoons through evenings seeing at least 35 patients weekly.
Requirements
- A master's degree in one of the following: Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Marriage and Family Therapy or Art Therapy.
- Hold one of the following licenses: LMSW/LCSW/LMHC/LMFT/LCAT or
- Limited Permit in: MSW/CSW/MHC/MFT/MHP
- Bilingual in Spanish, Creole, Russian or other language REQUIRED.
- Able to meet weekly therapy targets based on work hours.
- Attend weekly clinical supervision.
- Participate in department training.
- Attend bi-weekly staff meeting.
- Able to learn our Electronic Health Record (EHR) system
- Provide secure and private therapy sessions when remote.
- Complete documentation within 48 hours of session completion (including notes and billing).
- Ability to Collaborate with service providers from other institutions as needed e.g. Hospitals, school, ACS etc.

Benefits
- Base pay is $16.00 an hour ( Even if patients do not attend their sessions)
- 30 minute sessions at a rate of $15.00 and 45 minute sessions are at a rate of $22.50.
