About The Position

The Steven A. Cohen Military Family Clinic at Endeavors is looking for a highly motivated licensed Clinician who is eager to serve military-connected youth, families, and service members. The Cohen Clinic offers a variety of services to Post-9/11 Veterans, Active Duty Service Members, Reservists, National Guard, and their family members. Cohen Clinic Clinicians work closely with a multidisciplinary team, offering telehealth and in-person therapy services, to clients with a focus on offering time-limited and measurement based-care. The Play Therapy and Family Therapy rooms at the Cohen Clinic offer the perfect treatment environment for Clinicians to work with youth and family clients. The ideal candidate for this position has a passion and experience in working with children, adolescents, and families and is familiar with military culture. The Cohen Clinic has a commitment to training, consultation, and proficiency in treatment, offering training in evidence-based practice, including CBT, CPT, EFT, CBT-I, PE, and play therapy interventions. Requirements

  • Master’s degree in social work, clinical mental health counseling, or in marriage and family therapy is required.
  • Independent licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is preferred.
  • Eligibility to bill Tricare is required.
  • A minimum of three years of experience is preferred.
  • Experience working with adults, children, couples, and families is required
  • Knowledge in DSM-V diagnoses is required
  • Experience in diagnosing and treatment planning is required
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Must be highly organized and detail-oriented.
  • Must maintain regular and acceptable attendance at such level as is determined in the employer’s sole discretion.
  • Driver’s License with clear record.
  • Must have daily use of a vehicle without prior notice.
  • Must be available and willing to travel to various locations and with such frequency as the business need dictates.

Nice To Haves

  • Experience working with military populations and/or Veterans is strongly preferred
  • Certification or documented proficiency in one or more of the following EBP’s: CBT, PE, or CPT is preferred.
  • Candidate must be willing to received training in preferred EBPs.

Responsibilities

  • A goal of 26 contact hours with clients is expected weekly.
  • Perform and document client screenings, biopsychosocial assessments, and progress and referral information.
  • Provides therapy for individual adults and children, couples, and family therapy to clients, with a focus on delivering evidence-based treatments.
  • Collaborate and coordinate with a multidisciplinary team to provide quality mental health care.
  • Attend weekly clinical, supervision, and administrative meetings.
  • Other duties as assigned.
